Prior to entering the seminary: Before I came to the seminary, I suppose I was a normal high school student. I attended South Shelby High School in Shelbina, MO. I was actively involved in band, campus bowl, Student Council, FCCLA, drama, and many other activities, as well as being an avid football and basketball fan. During the summer months, you would probably find me at Hawkin’s Theatre working on the current musical or at Clarence Care Center where I worked in the laundry department. I also was involved in my parishes, just helping out where I could and taking part in youth activities. Enjoy most about the seminary:The thing I enjoy most about the seminary is the high sense of community. There is always someone to talk to, to help you, to listen to you, or an opportunity for you to listen to him. I also enjoy, the willingness of the professors to help you and ensure your success academically and spiritually. Favorite thing Learned while in the seminary:Probably something that has been reiterated to me here which, I already knew, is that God has a distinct plan for each of us, and that we can only be truly happy if we discover that plan. It might be hard at times and we will want to give up, but God’s never ending love will help us through the hard times.
